SCARY FLIGHT! Cebu Pacific ATR 72-600 Flight Report! | DG6817 CEB-GES

Join me as I experience my first ATR ride with Cebu Pacific. This flight is bound for General Santos with a flight # of DG6817. Aircraft Registration is RP-C7286. This is my second time in ATR. The first one was when i had my flight from General Santos to Cebu earlier this week. Going on a propeller plane is kinda scary and I think i will not ride this (if possible) in my future flights. hehehe

Experiencing turbulence is just normal when riding a plane regardless if it's an Airbus A320, ATR-72 or larger planes like Boeing 777 or Airbus A350. As long as you're following safety procedures and protocols everything will be fine :)

It has been said that ATR is a safe plane as it glides in the air . Was scared the 1st time i had it from Ilo to Cebu . But I got used to flying with ATR many times after .

Turbulence is normal as they say it is indeed scary but you have to trust your pilot. Plus this is a small plane they tend to shake more as they fly on a lower altitude. And propeller aircraft like this is even safer than the bigger ones because they can glide.

i hate flying them. The ATR 72 has been involved in 66 aviation accidents and incidents, including 40 hull losses, resulting in 470 fatalities. As of January 2023, there have been 12 accidents with at least one fatality reported.

Pag may LPA talagang expect ka ng turbulence… pag sunny weather, kung minsan merong clear-air turbulence. Parang mixture of hot and cold air colliding.. 🙏🏻

Had a flight the previous day to Manila, sobrang turbulent din, mga 10 mins lang naka-off yung seatbelt sign, I think twice din nag drop yung plane. Overall a bad weekend to fly due to the low pressure area haha

I will not fly Cebu Pacific again. It was a worst nightmare for me. Took off sounds like tearing wings, to much shakey..tingin ako sa mga katabi ko, nagdasal nman sila..

Same I have a fear with CebPac than PAL, CebPac isn’t care for turbolence while PAL is Very Careful about Turbolence also the Passengers On Board
