I spent way more time messing around with this than the video shows. Tried a few experiments which had mixed results:
1. Swap / Regenerate Transition Tables
2. Alternate between sweeping up and down
3. Accumulate from sim texture to output texture
4. Post fx
Overall I was pleased that I understood the core algorithm and implemented it, but my ease at adding/modifying was not very strong yet. Lots of failed experiments. Looking forward to coming back to this in a few weeks.
