Biggest & Best Spring/Summer Fashion Trends 2022

Today we are talking about the biggest & best fashion trends for the spring and summer months. Things haven’t massively changed from what we were wearing last spring and summer but I do have 7 items or trends, I think we will be seeing a lot of this year. Although I don’t believe you should ever chase trends, they do have their positives! They can introduce you to new styles that you may not have tried otherwise, and they can help introduce people into the world of fashion who have no idea where to start. I think all the items in this video will continue to be popular, even when the trend dies down, so I don’t think they are bad investments. But what I will always say is make sure you are buying something because you love it and not just because it’s trending!

Now of course people are going to be wearing items like caps, t-shirts, and shorts more in the warmer weather so I don’t need to tell you about the obvious stuff. But I wanted to give you some not so obvious items that you can try out to spice things up this year.

Summer is always a struggle for me fashion-wise. I really developed my fashion sense over the winter though so I feel like I'm very well poised for summer '22. Will have to do some more shopping soon though, looking forward to it!

The Aime Leon Dore 550 white and green were my fave sneaker of 2021. They’re dead comfy too with the springy ortho insole. They shot down in price from $700 - $200 at one point. The Aime Leon dore white/grey are perfect too

Haha that Puma intersection was class. I can't decide if I like the 550s just because I'm seeing them everywhere or because I actually like them. Tbh if I found them at retail in my size I'd probably pick them up but I'm not going out of my way to get them.

Im not a big fan of the 550s. If I have to buy a pair of new balance today it would be the 327s, however I do like the 550s with the right fit though.

Really excited to see your summer content, as I personally really struggle with summer fits. I live in AZ where it reaches above 100 degrees, and whenever I look for summer fit inspo, it’s impossible to find content where people AREN’T layering, and it’s just way too hot here for that. :(

I agree that Pumas will have a NB type moment at some point. They're really distinct, have a classic design in a lot of colors, and they aren't super popular at the moment so they stand out. They also have a distinct hip-hop/punk connotation. I had a pair of pumas in high school and was often complimented for them so clearly people like the style even if they aren't super trendy right now

I think flat caps like the kangol 504 are gonna pop off (and maybe a minor resurgence of the bucket hat too). Dad hats have had a good run, so we're going to see more unique styles of headwear. Flat cap + knitted v-neck + wallabees for a solid geriatric golf vibe lol
