Mechwarrior 5 Clans: New Trailer Dropped!

There was a new trailer that just dropped for #Mechwarrior5: #Clans. It's pretty exciting, or at least, I think it's pretty exciting.

So, let's break down what I saw in it, what's to like, and what's perhaps not to.

There's a "Ferro Fibrous armor pod" item in the mechlab for the general slot. That is an indication that any further customization may require slots, which is an interesting idea if things other than extra armor are available.

I am so looking forward to this. The gameplay looks absolutely amazing. And contrary to you, Big Red, I am a big fan of the omnimech, especially, you guessed it, the Timber Wolf. That being said. I am looking forward to exploring the various mechs that we do have access to. I also hope that we get access to more second line battlemax, such as the 2C variants

We just plain need more. Let us us see the IIC mechs. I know they don't want to waste a great trailer if its going to be overwhelmed, but we need more so we can get hyped.

Mechwarrior 5 has really grown. Still wish it had been closer to this at release but we take what we can get.

I can see IIC mechs as separate DLC. And I'm sure someone will try and make a mod that removes clan mech limitations.

Im looking forward to see what the future will bring in new Content for this Game. I never would have guessed there would be 6 DLC for MW5 Mercs.

I am cautiously excited for this game. Cautiously because I have hard time trusting any game studio these days. I hope this game will be awesome.
Though I can't imagine I'm the only one who was hoping for a bit more freedom. Freedom to mix match my mechs. Run a lance with Mad Cat, awesome, Warhammer III and an Atlas and face off against both inner sphere and clans. Maybe there'll be DLC or something lol.
I'm not against this format, just wouldn't have minded a bit of freedom.
