Time is a talent.
How are you serving the most high with the gift of your time on this Earth how are you using your time are you seeking his righteousness and his kingdom first and serving others with your time for His Name's sake?

That would work great if man could be trusted and the churches weren't full of corruption. Read the story again and imagine that the currency Jesus gave them was spiritual wisdom, instead of money. They were to use their talents to spread God's wisdom! Not to make money for some abomination we call the church. Not a single one of us needs a middle-man to walk with God.

Let this parable be a warning to those who think that one cannot lose their Salvation.

All the servants received Grace from The LORD, some more than others and some less. But The LORD rewarded only those who bore fruits and returned something from The Grace that He bestowed on them.

In the same way, if any of us does not bear fruit for The LORD, The LORD will take away His Grace and toss our lots with the hypocrites.

Edit: To those in the replies who want to take God's Grace for granted, I will say this: Not everyone who calls upon The Name of The Lord will enter The Kingdom of Heaven, but "he who does The Will of The Heavenly Father." (Matthew 7:21) (Philippians 2:12)

The story isn't complete without having a 4th servant who went out with good intentions and risked his talents in an attempt to gain his master more, but wound up losing them.
Without knowing how the master would have reacted to such an incidence, I don't feel like we can gather a full understanding of the implied lesson.
