I could be wrong, but I’m assuming you’re apply it by hand.

In my opinion, the newer trim/B2B restorer/conditioner sprays work maybe not better, but more efferent and time saving. Plus I think a detailed spray of the engine bay will cover more area than using a pad/brush.

I rinse entire vehicle and engine bay, pre soak engine bay with pump sprayer containing a citrus based chemical mixed with my VLR chemical, degreaser, and water. Let dwell for 1-3 mins. Soak with my main shampoo/soap (sometimes I still might add a bit of citrus soap or a hint of degreaser to foam cannon), hand wash, scrub inside hood jamb and main focus points of the actual engine bay, and a final rinse. Final spray of the VLR type chemical and let dwell. Works perfect for engine bay. And basically touchiness unless you get a vehicle with years of caked up, backroad, mudding, dirt/mud.

I only use it on the interior. Didn’t have much luck with it on the exterior.

Did you cleaned with I don’t know “soap and water” before you apply the veo?
