This made me cry.. im 61 and living with lupus. Also a few other health issues that dont allow me to do much exercise but I am able to do some yoga. Im so appreciative of you and your sharing of things that will make a difference. God Bless 💗

Dominique I absolutely believe in facial yoga. I have done it daily for years. At almost 56 a needle has never touched my face. I love you spoke about this and the value doing things naturally and consistently. Your in amazing shape and yes anything worth having takes time and patience. I'm 73, and in good shape through yoga and Tai chi. I cannot say enough about both of these and I am not a vegetarian, although I eat more veggies than meat.

Oh Dominique you are so right. I’m 63 this year and I’ve noticed that I’m not as strong as I used to be and it’s because I used to swim daily but w/covid no more.
I used to do yoga and Pilates also. I tried doing the same poses I used to do and I can barely keep my balance! Ugh. I have to go back to the beginning.

I have followed face yoga expert Eva Fraser for many years and went to one of her talks in the UK (where I am based) about 15 plus years ago; she was trained by Madame Hoffman, the pioneer of face yoga who devised the method back in the 30s. More recently I've followed Fumiko Takatsu; she has modernised and re-invented the subject. But always remember this. "Happy girls are the prettiest"- Audrey Hepburn. Keep smiling !

I have been doing face yoga by Danielle Collins for years and it does truly work, but like anything worthwhile it takes time. Most important, as you said, is what you put in your body; otherwise everything else is a waste. Thank you for another dose of inspiration ❤️

Right on Sister! I see women our age working out several times a week, more than i do, but never losing a pound, infact gaining weight, because they don't alter their food and alcohol intake.

Fantastic video Domenique. I love yoga and have done yoga on and off for years. Now at age 60 I do yoga twice per week, and weight training (nothing too heavy though); a must for bone density and have never stopped since age 19, for 3 times per week. In my journal I normally write all the things I have to do for the day and at the very bottom I have a section for what exercises and what meals. I've moved the meals to the very top, second exercises and the rest of the day to do's following. I have done many diets in my life (now age 60), including 12 week Body for Life Challenges, and eating raw was by far the fastest weight loss and the BEST and happiest moods. It wasn't sustainable for me, however it taught me a lot! Once per day raw veggies, once per day cooked veggies, and always a lean protein (I prefer fish) and a complex carb in at least one of those meals. Lots of water, green tea with a dash of ACV, intermittent fasting, and move your body throughout the day as much as possible. Enjoy a bit of sunshine for Vit D and spend some time outdoors for a bike ride, a walk, or playing with my grandchildren or furry babies. Write in a gratitude journal (daily if I can). Appreciate. And daily...warm up your body for at least 10 to 15 minutes and then do stretches! (Move or you rust, lol). I'm only 10 pounds heavier than I was at age 22. Stay positive and look for the positives in others. Stay away from toxicity. :) <3

I AM A TM PRACTITIONER AND BECAUSE OF YOU AM GOING TO INCORPORATE YOGA. YOU ARE A BLESSING YOURSELF TO ME - PHYSICALLY I AM IN PRETTY TERRIBLE SHAPE AND AM NOW READY TO MAKE SOME CHANGES. GOD BLESS YOU - I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN IN THE AMERICAN WAY OF THINKING BUT A BELIEVER IN KINDNESS AND TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER. I THANK YOU, I BLESS YOU AND I WILL LEARN FROM YOU.

Your advise is always so on point. Especially that 90% of the work is what you put in your mouth. Do you do yoga at home with video or do you like the class atmosphere?
