I dont know many songs that hit these very special - and rare - emotional notes.. Its that feeling, when you barely survive a trauma that has lasted for years. You are damaged, and you are aware it will hurt you for the resto of your life. But at the same time you are happy it's over, and it's behind you.
Its when you start laughing, but the laughter reminds you that you are feeling relief from something that causes you great pain, and then you remember the pain in a second and start crying. Thats the emotion i got from this song. Like some kind of a bittersweet victory.

I love this track. It sounds like the dead center of a Sheath-era LFO, later Telefon Tel Aviv and Big Black Delta love triangle in retrospect. Light sprinkles of Tobacco here and there.

So playful musically. Like, there's been very few after Windowlicker but this is the perfect example of a Warp track that could have been a successful single outside that typical WATMM sort of audience. It was one slight edit away from probably radio airplay.

Equally unfortunate/fortunate the rest of the album is all over the place.
