CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The raptors set a trap for the survivors by using Mr. Udesky (Michael Jeter) as live bait.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Director Joe Johnston takes over the creative reins from Steven Spielberg for this third installment in the thriller franchise. Sam Neill returns as Dr. Alan Grant, a scientist who's tricked by wealthy couple Paul and Amanda Kirby (William H. Macy and Tea Leoni) into a fly-over of Isla Sorna. The object of their sightseeing tour is one of the Costa Rican islands populated by ferocious, genetically bred dinosaurs and the "site B" setting of Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World (1997). After their plane crash-lands, it's revealed that the Kirbys are actually seeking their teenage son, lost on the island after a paragliding accident. Trapped on Isla Sorna, Grant and his companions discover some painful truths the hard way. Among their discoveries: some of the scaly monsters possess more advanced communicative abilities than previously believed, the dreaded Tyrannosaurus Rex has a larger and more lethal competitor, and flying Pteranodons pose an even graver threat than some of their land-locked brethren. Jurassic Park III is the first in the series not to be based upon a novel by original author Michael Crichton.

The raptors are extremely intelligent not only for setting a trap but torturing the guy to have him scream but make sure not to kill him. Then when they realized the trap failed they don’t eat the guy but break his neck basically saying he outlived his usefulness.

I'm so sad Udesky died, he was just a good character.

R.I.P Michael Jeter, you will be missed.

Love how the raptor looks up at them after snapping Udesky's neck.
"Give back the eggs, or suffer his fate!"

I feel bad for Udesky. He didn't deserve his unsettling fate.

Love how he smiled and seemed genuinely happy when he said they set a trap. Like your comrade just got merked by those raptors and you’re impressed they tried to use it against you in an attempt to kill you lol

RIP and long live Michael Jeter (August 26, 1952 – March 30, 2003), aged 50
You will always be remembered as a legend.

What are velociraptors saying? But of course, they're talking about quantum physics, curing cancer and traveling to mars.

Poor Udesky. He was my favourite character in the movie. Not only that, but Michael Jeter (the guy who plays Udesky's role in the movie) is dead in real life. R.I.P. :(

Despite what people may not like about this movie, you have to admit that the effects are incredible and look better than what we get these days.

Udesky’s death is probably the most brutal in the entire series and that image of the raptor claw going in his back with his screams always stuck with me as a child. The Raptors are the scariest in Jurassic Park 3 by far.

Also this movie is Fantastic and underrated as hell

Grant being able to tell they’re having conversations, and that last raptor doing that attack for nothing other than intimidation, not to actually eat his prey or make sure he’s dead. I just love all the ways raptors show off their intelligence

After watching a specific YouTuber talking about Jurassic Park 3, it's definitely given me a brand new perspective on these specific Velociraptors. Because they're not exactly hunting the characters like predators after prey, they're just angry and being VERY good parents.
They had several opportunities to kill everyone, but if they did they might have risked losing their eggs and their unborn babies.
The only reason they killed Udesky is because he didnt smell like eggs or Billy's bag, so they killed him as a threat: "either you give us back our eggs, or you'll be next!"
It's honestly made the movie better for me because it included their main scariest animals, and made them more than just intelligent, savage killers. They're intelligent in a different way this time.
And besides, if I was a parent and someone kidnapped my child, I'd probably go after them like an angry Velociraptor too

That perfectly shows how deadly that 6 inch retractable claw was. They perfectly explained how most of the dinosaurs acted and why.

I love how the raptors are portrayed as similar to gangsters in this movie

-Jurassic Park raptors: fairly smart and cooperative, but they can still be tricked
-The Lost World raptors: feral, ferocious, animalistic, and no teamwork
-Jurassic Park III raptors: so freaking smart they can set traps and play on human emotions as if they're a fucking Predator or something

This scene in my opinion is one of the darkest deaths in Jurassic Park.

*The dude slowly suffered and died.*

It warms my heart that Mr. Jingles was not there to see this.
