False accusers destroy multiple lives. The ones they accuse, and the ones not taken seriously and actually abused.

Makes it tougher for those who actually have been hurt.

What sucks is false accusers ruin so much. Not just the people they accuse. They make it harder for real victims to get justice or be believed. Sick sick people.

She needs to go to prison. False allegations need to be punished severely. Lives get ruined, and it makes it so much harder for real victims to come forward. Faith and others like her need to be forced to listen to the horrors real victims had to endure because of their selfishness.

I love how the justice system is dedicated to constant injustice, and never going after the bad guys.

That happens to me… cost me 5 years, my house, my son, my job, everything I had…. She never said a date, any story other then he beat me, she never had a mark on her, and we worked in the same office where she never missed a day, never called in sick, never went to the doctor, had no pictures or whitenesses. And was proven to be lying in court. And was proven to have tried to set me up again later on a phone call it cost me $20, 000 to prove I never made.

She lied in court every single time we were in there, and even when I paid $350 for written transcripts of the trial and then $35 for a recording of the trail I was never given either. And I tried to find a lawyer to sue her and no one would represent me, or sue the country or the DA.

I still cannot drive and I have to go to court every three months because now I’m homeless and cannot pay restitution

Some law should be implemented where if you falsely accuse someone of a crime you should do the time as if you committed the crime yourself, would stop shit like this from happening, but idk how difficult it would be to implement

Anyone willing to falsely accuse someone like that should be considered a danger to society. Because they are.

As someone who was falsely accused by an ex, I feel for CJ. People who haven't been in this kind of situation don't know the kind of stress and trauma false accusations cause. It's been 4 years, and personally, I can't trust women. At least CJ got something, I spent thousands of dollars, and my state wouldn't go after my false accuser because she moved out of state. There needs to be a law passed that states, "anyone who makes false accusations will receive the same sentence as those who commit said crime." This injustice needs to come to an end.

If you’re caught making a false accusation out of clearly malicious intent, you should 100% be given the sentence you would have given the other person. This girl deserves 99 years in prison

Fake accusers should face double the time that the person they accused would face.

I grew up with this guy. We were in a barbershop class together in high school. He's a great man!

a lot of people bringing up that this shouldn't be done because victims would be afraid to step up in fear of facing the sentence themselves if they lose the case. There's a difference between a case being dismissed due to lack of evidence and someone being found to be lying like this with actual proof. That being said, I think the whole "serving the same sentence" would have to depend heavily on the evidence presented. The idea that you'd just throw a potential victim in jail because they couldnt prove their case is absurd, but if it can be proven that they had ill intentions from the start, I'd say that's another story....

These lies are what ruins people’s lives. It’s horrible that women accuse innocent men of things like this. It harms everyone in the end. It gets the innocent punished and will eventually make people not believe the women who actually are abused. She needs more of a punishment than what she got. He could have had his entire life ruined over a lie. She deserves jail time.

This is a problem so bad, that I had teachers warn us about this before we entered highschool. They told us not to get into any early relationships with people we didn't trust, because of the frequency of cases like this, and because the men are almost NEVER even listened to or given a chance to defend themselves and prove their Innocence.

I pray for justice for that young man. That was so evil of that young woman. God sees everything, she will reap what she has sown.

Every time one of these false accusations happen: "The real victims are the people who wont be believed in the future"!
How about we focus on the actual victim of this story, not the supposed ones?
