Austin Crumley, M.Ed. is an experienced ballet educator who holds a passion for creating an inclusive, human-first community in understanding the art form of Dance. He received his B.F.A in Ballet Pedagogy from The University of Oklahoma under the directorship of Mary Margaret Holt. Afterward, he was hired on as a professional company dancer with the Sacramento Ballet. Throughout his performing career he has performed many works including choreography by, but not limited to: Ma Cong, Gerald Arpino, Darrell Moultrie, Ilya Kozadayev, Jock Soto, and George Balanchine. He has performed both leading and ensemble roles as well as contemporary works tailoring to his understanding of all aspects of the physical art form. After retiring from professional Dance, Austin focused on teaching while earning his Masters in Education. He now helps to progress the ballet industry by implementing evidence-based practices for dancers & teachers worldwide through Ballet Reeducation workshops, courses & resources.
