I have inattentive type. I can make direct eye contact and not remember one word the speaker said.

All 5 for me. I'm so good at predicting what is going to happen in movies that people are convinced I've seen them before. And on the flip side I can also completely forget everything about movies I've seen before to the point I don't realize I have seen it before.

Every since I started seeing these, I feel "seen" instead of "weird". It's so refreshing and even healing. ❤

The eye contact thing!! I even started telling people during important conversations, including my boss; It's not that I'm not paying attention, but looking to the side while communicating helps me concentrate or articulate my thoughts better.

Do NOT throw away the teddy bear! I got rid of so many stuffed animals, and not having them later to comfort me when family and friends died was devastating.

I was diagnosed at 70. I knew I was different but had no idea what it was. I thought there was something wrong with me. Now I know there used to be nothing wrong, it’s just that my brain goes super fast and my conscious awareness can’t keep up with me.

It is very strange that people aren't talking about the sense of justice and propriety.

The eye contact and listening problem is so real😂 i get so focused on the eyes i forget to listen and then i try to focus on what's being said and instead start analyzing the voice and dialect or the wording 🤦‍♀️

Predicting films because our brains are able to connect the dots faster. My husband hates it when I do that. 😂😂😂😂

My son got the first Masters Degree ever at Bard Graduate Center. It’s in American Ephemera and his lifelong reason for keeping many wonderful things having wonderful and interesting memories. His children are now learning family history, love, respect as he shares them and gives them. He has sorted over the years making $$$$ selling then wishing he hadn’t. He’s a curator at a big museum working with other people’s mementoes. ❤❤❤❤ Stay strong and turn your traits into strengths!

I recall talking with my doctor about some symptoms... such as not being able to turn my brain off at night... or coming up with a good "comeback" or such, at 2am... or feeling like I "lost time". He handed me a sheet to look at... he came back and I said yeah! This is me too! He then explained it was adult ADHD, very different from kids...and I was 45.

Bingo! I've got all of them. The one about having a conversation is the hardest one. I always naturally try to find something to doodle on, while talking to people, and people interpret it as a sign of me being not interested in the conversation, while in reality it's quite the opposite. I do it to be more involved, not less!

The "sparks joy" method has really helped me with letting things go, especially the part Marie Kondo says that the item has fulfilled its purpose for you and it can go on to do the same for someone else. I still have issues with it, especially with my deceased parents' things, but it's better.

I truly thought everyone could see it coming in movies

The bedtime procrastination and not making eye contact when listening hit home for me. I see myself in all of these things.
