I agree totally with gary, i spent 2 days trying to set up my printer to the new network, i even downloaded the cannon manual like gary, & got nowhere, i watched this video & learnt i had to press the red button 21 flashes, & my printer started up, i was planning on going to the store tomorrow for help, but its up & running now in less than 2 minutes, a big thankyou👍👍👍👍

The software these printers run on is trash, seriously what kind of installation is this half of the time it's trial and error. Oki and Brother are way in front of you. If you cant figure out how to make a simple one-button wifi setup work I would suggest you add screens to your devices as a mandatory

After almost a full day trying loads of things and a lot of internet searches we finally found a solution that worked within about one minute!! For security purposes we had to change our network password and the printer just would not reconnect. We tried the Canon manual too and nothing told us how quick and easy this was! We didn't press the button for 21 flashes as commented below, it took seconds to get the process started and it coneccted really quickly. Thank you so much!!!

I've been trying to get this to work and I'm following the instructions in the manual and this video to the letter. Still my printer will not connect to my "wooter". Canon used to be a respectable brand, but accomplishing the most basic tasks with a printer should not be an uphill battle.

ok. it worked, but what type of maniac makes you wait for the light to flash 21 times ? and all the other odd steps. just make me press a bottom 5 times or something

What if at the first step, pressing the Wifi button does not lead to the 'ON' light flashing? Pretty major issue for me.

This was extremely helpful! Followed the exact instructions and it connected right away... No issues. Im sure iv used this a couple of times befroe also. My printer seems to need reconnected everytime i use it, which is only maybe a few times a year.

I have tried several time and it didnt work at all
until i search for another video which press the color button instead of the Black button
otherwise the steps in this video are fine
