Why doesn't it work?
The desktop mode on browser makes the website to think that your phone is a computer. The website is then thinking that you have a mouse (or a touchpad) and a keyboard. But then the game doesn't work because there's no jump button or joystick appearing on the screen so you basically couldn't move. But the game knows that something is wrong and then it makes for you impossible to join the game.
