Hey Billy, Great setup video brother. Since I have 2 Inspires and have had some experience with the Gimbal Plate, If I may add a bit of advice to your camera check, When mounting the camera and checking to be certain that it is secure, I recommend that you hold the Gimbal mount Plate steady, It's mounted to the bracket with those rubber dampening buttons. Large movements of the Gimbal Plate to the full allowable travel of the dampening rubber mounts can possibly cause the ribbon cable between the camera gimbal mount and the circuit board to come "unplugged" from the camera gimbal connector. This will cause your camera to not function and you'll spend hours trouble shooting as to why the camera no longer works and won't find the reason unless you remover the entire gimbal mount plate assy from the bottom of the aircraft and make sure the ribbon cable is secure. So it's a good idea to hold the mount plate steady when putting pressure on the gimbal and not let it move around much. During normal flight that plate moves very little and pretty much never travels to it's full range of motion. I had this happen on one of my Inspires and I went nuts trying to trouble shoot why the camera stopped working.

The rest of your steps are spot on and almost step by step match what I do each time I fly the Inspire. Awesome Video... ! ! !

If ur ever up for it, I highly recommend investing in a crystal sky. I love mine (the midrange model). It makes everything so much better, plus it holds extra as cards for easy exporting temporarily, and as a backup for when you forget the main card at home, which i have done many times. The screen is also crazy bright which I love.

I told you that it’s a beast to set up. I have been flying mine for about a year and a half and there’s a lot to learn before you can put it up in the air. I like your preflight tutorial. After you’ve flown it for awhile it gets easier to get it ready quicker. I purchased a landing mode case and that makes it much quicker/easier to get it ready to fly without having to take it out of travel mode. Also I use Tmotor folding CF props and that makes it easier also to get up in the air. Keep up the good work.

Hi guys,

Please help me..My inspire 2 recently crash out of the blue & it was clearly a Manufacturing defect..The DJI guys are giving reasons & not responding well..My drone can't be turned ON then too I have extracted the flight records & sent to the DJI ..they are asking for a MCDat file which I can't see at my end and no video cache file is available as I wasn't recording at that time..Please help me it has been 3 months I am struggling..Also plz tell me whether the MCDat file & video cache file are related and whether they are really required to analyse the cause of accident

You are gonna fly this bird eventually, right? Prep and flight is already old news but videos from the field sure are more interesting. It's a big bird though, tough to just go and fly somewhere like you can with the phantom.

Don't and never will own an Inspire, but still enjoyed your video. As others have alluded, my Inspire ownership will be vicariously experienced through your videos. But remember, the meat of your viewership does not own multi-thousand dollar, high-end drones. We're Spark, Mavic and Phantom pilots. So don't ignore us by producing only videos about your new toy.

Nice video Billy but one thing you should have mentioned or maybe you don't know but the batteries need to be used in pairs and also paired in the software. So A/A, B/B Can't wait to see some killer video from that bad boy!

I’ll be living vicariously through your upcoming videos of this one. (❤️_❤️) it’s so shiny. Those connectors look very small and would concern me. Hopefully they thought about adding some reverse polarity protection in case someone does tap some pins together. I’m positive(+) (ha-ha) ;) that they did.
