The Quran in general is very vague and contradicts itself . There are no prophetic verses only vague assertions . If this somehow proves the Quran is from Allah, how can you IGNORE all its historical mistakes ?
If thr Quran is from a god..how is this god so uninterested in prophecy? Where is Muhammad fulfilled in Quranic prophecy ? Where is Muhammad foretold in the Bible? 😅 Nowhere.

There is nothing in the Quran that can be used to date this prediction, so later commentators can fill in anything. Secondly, this is a 50/50 prediction like predicting the outcome of a football match. Thirdly, this prediction has nothing to do with the religion.
Only the Bible contains real prophecies that are central to understanding who is Jesus the Messiah!

Ibn Ubay had different reading of the Quran. Different vocalisation, different meaning, and for quite a few centuries it was a popular version of the Quran - because it said the Romans had been victorious but soon they will be defeated (i.e. by Muslims).

The Uthman version of the Quran wasn't made the dominant reading until after this prophecy was fulfilled, so it's really an after-the-fact prophecy.
