The T26E5 is one of the most fun heavy tanks in the US tech tree. It's very similar to the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo, which is pretty infamous in the War Thunder community.

With how slow that missile was at 15:05, I have no doubt in my mind that that was a Type 60 ATGM. Thing is such a pain to play lmao

Fun fact, if you look in the armour protection you can see that the lower front plate is not modeled correctly, visually it is correct, but the actual armour is approximately 20° more angled. This has been in the game ever since the T26E5 was introduced, Gaijin has never fixed it, the T26E5 has been in the game since 2021. This tank is a perfect example that Gaijin will not fix something unless they are pressured to by the community and money depends on it.

As someone who started with America then did a bit of a German side tree, (to play with my German main friends) and with that, my first encounter with this thing was literally the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. Every shot bounced, and the one that went through just killed his machine gunner. I shot again and again, and every shot bounced right off. After 10 or so shots he made it all the way to my position, and stared at me as my last round bounced off his front plate, before he claimed my life. It was a great duel, and I wonder to this day if it was Spookston, because they were named Player. If it was Spookston your terrifying in that thing, and if not your still terrifying in that thing, but whoever that was needs to 1v1 you, because that would be the duel of a century.

Also, Spookston, I LOVE your content and I learned a ton from it, using your videos and playstyle to help me along with my light vehicles, and generally become a better player. Keep up the Amazing content!

Never expected a T26e5 video but its a very welcome addition, one of my favorite tanks at 6.7, sadly it faces uptiers quite often against cold war tanks which makes it painful to play.

(Attempt #12) I am once again requesting that you play the Italian 90/53 M41. It is killer in CQC and can pen tanks most others can't with its shell. It is surprisingly survivable if you don't get strafed and is a good TD... when you aren't reloading

A really fun heavy tank to play is the Somua SM, it plays kinda like a medium but also has some decent armor.
Another tank that would be cool to see, is the original FL10 EBR. Nobody plays it anymore but im sure that thing is still really good, even after the nerfs.

The Pershing is my favorite WWll tank! Amazing armor and a big fat 90mm gun makes this a beast on the field!

SO glad you chose to do this one, honestly aside from the lack of pen and somewhat lower velocity compared to the T26E1-1's gun right after it, it's still an extremely potent and well armored tank for 6.7
Right after I unlocked it I loved using it due to how easy it was to actually tank enemy rounds and still dish out some punishment, and despite being a heavy it still moved out of it's own way decently well. It's truly one of my favorite tanks in american 6.7 despite the M3's lackluster APHE penetration, and the APCR's random ass janky inconsistency.

The T26e5 was my first 6.0+ tank I got and still is, but great video i was not expecting this and now I'm motivated to play the tank again. That Edit at 12:06 was gold though.

I feel like Spookston is evolving from his cas-ptsd and is now gaining the power to survive bombs.

6:17 I think the IS-2 shell actually hit the hatch, that's where the penetration sound effect plays. That's a known weakspot on the Pershings.
