This is episode #1 to Not Right Music’s new series “Community Service.”

Ideas on expanding your unconventional music throughout your community and how to organize local music gatherings and other events.

With special guests: Chie Mukai, Ryo (Haruka Bird), & Nobunaga Ken

Get off the internet, go outside, and start something in your community!
Something that involves the kind of music you love.
Something that will educate the people around you.
Something that will, in the long run, benefit you more than you could imagine!

I often hear musicians complain that there’s nothing going on in their town and that they have no chance to play the music they like. To which I always respond,
“If what you want doesn’t exist - then you must build it.”
There is no excuse. It doesn’t matter your age, music ability, if you’re an introvert, disabled, nothing. I’ve seen all kinds of people actually build something meaningful in their community that relates to the music they love. You can do it to. This video will help you out.

Very inspiring and well done video Marcus! But it made me feel like my town is so boring! I'd love to do this kind of thing and have as many people as I can participate instead of just me and my small group of friends. Maybe this video will push me! Keep them coming. I'm always surprised by the uniqueness of your topics
