Big difference between designing a suit for a spacewalk and designing a moon walk suit. Even SpaceX admit they will have to do a lot to have a suit suitable for the moon.

The suit doesn't have to be all that good or cool looking.. it has to be MASS MANUFACTURED. That is SpaceXs current job to build as many spaceships and space suits as possible and hopefully other companies figure out the other colonization tech
