In this video, we’ll discuss some common eye problems and the nutrients that can help. Dry eyes and night blindness are often caused by vitamin A deficiency.

Vitamin A deficiency can be caused by a diet high in junk food or an issue with the gallbladder.

Egg yolks, liver, butter, and cod liver oil are the best sources of vitamin A. Plants are not a good source of vitamin A because they only contain the precursor, beta-carotene.

Zinc is essential for vitamin A to work properly in the body. Red meat, oysters, shellfish, and liver are the best sources of zinc.

Retinopathy is often caused by diabetes. Excessive amounts of glucose can create oxidation in the nervous system. Benfotiamine, a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1, can penetrate nerve tissue.

Consuming protein with sugar causes a chemical reaction called glycation, which can cause floaters in the eye. A low-carb or carnivore diet may help. Intermittent and prolonged fasting allow your body to recycle damaged proteins through autophagy and may help with floaters.

Macular degeneration is often said to be age-related. However, blue light, alcohol, smoking, sugar, and seed oils may contribute to it. To improve eye health, try lowering your seed oil consumption and increasing your intake of omega-3 fats.

Lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin are carotenoids that protect your eyes against macular degeneration. You can find these compounds in the following foods:
• Green vegetables
• Orange fruits and vegetables
• Yellow fruits and vegetables
• Egg yolks
• Seafood (Salmon, shrimp)
• Grass-fed meat

Glaucoma is an eye condition in which excessive pressure causes damage to the back of the eye. Research has shown that vitamin D can be an excellent remedy for glaucoma. High amounts of vitamin D can also be beneficial for cataracts.

N-acetyl-carnosine and zinc contain antioxidants that protect the eye and improve cataracts. Dark purple, red, orange, and yellow fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants that help support eye health.

I have had floaters for 3 years. My optometrist every year would say “if they get worse let me know”. Told him for three years they were worse. I decided to check out videos on getting rid of floaters and thanks to castor oil I am floater free. Old remedies are better than anything a doctor will tell you.

Castor oil in the eyes before sleep. I have tried this and woke up with very refreshed eyes. I used the dark bottle, cold pressed, hexane free, non gmo, pure castor oil.

Once upon a time, there was a 60 year old man. He had the trashiest of trash diets. He was obese. He had high blood pressure. He had terrible blood tests. He had chronic eye floaters. He had depression, anxiety. He had acid reflux and was on daily Nexium for 20 years. He was diagnosed with degenerative brain disease at Emory Brain Center Atlanta, GA. All of a sudden, he saw Dr Berg videos. In January 2022, this man went KETO + Intermittent fasting with a 4:20 eating/fasting window + walked 8 miles every other day = October 2022, this man had lost 50 lbs, got off 7 medications, with Dr guidance, had best blood tests ever AND floaters GONE!!! Doctor said, you must have been misdiagnosed at Emory Brain Center….yeah RIGHT.

My floater started at the age of 50. When I retired at 60 I started the carnivore diet for elimination of allergies, during the diet change the extras results :eye floaters disappeared, off BP and cholesterol meds, weight loss, psoriasis is gone. It's worth trying this diet

I did a 26 days water fast and my floaters went away. Also my sight improved a lot. I don´t need glasses. I´m on keto since 2012 and fasting one day a week and still got this kind of improvement on a prolonged water fast.

I recently experienced this and discovered the Vitamin A deficiency. I’m continuing to supplement with vitamin A and others. The floater has improved, but not gone away completely.

I just wanted to thank you. I don't know if you will see this comment but I posted it anyways. I had pre-diabetes even though I was vegan and severe joint swelling. I watched your keto videos and your video about the parathyroid and how it may need small amounts of boron to process vitamins. So I did the keto thing and vitamin d3 with K, the calcium and 3mg boron. I no longer am prediabetic and my joints are feeling better. I'm just so thankful that you posted this because my doctors were just giving me steroid shots. I didn't know i was missing a mineral like boron or that keto gets rid of prediabetes. So thank you!
