Kind of interesting to see how his fighting style has changed over the years. He used to basically just be the sword ability but now he’s flying around, firing sword beams and Mach tornadoes and has even started throwing tons of rocks at you and occasionally duplicating himself. Give the puffball credit, he never stops improving.

I've always loved that Meta Knight throws Kirby a sword. He REFUSES to fight Kirby on uneven ground in most cases. It was even a clue that Dark Meta Knight was an impostor.

I've always loved how Meta Knight has always been more of anti hero, usually just fighting Kirby to test him or train, never really out to do harm, except in Revenge of Meta Knight where he just decided to go crazy and be evil for a bit for no particular reason other than I guess for the lols.

I love the continuity in squeak squad, when you fight meta knight at the end of secret sea, you realize that the strange facility you’ve travelled through for the last one or two levels is actually the halberd, still at the bottom of the sea where it crashed at the end of revenge of meta knight.

Meta Knight (alongside his darker version since Amazing Mirror) is one of my favourites for this series. His music themes have several different versions throughout each game he appears in. My favourite is from Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby’s (Extra) Epic Yarn, Kirby: Planet Robobot and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

In Star Allies, you can comically anger Meta Knight into triggering an alternate intro animation if you refuse to get the sword for about 20 seconds or fly up to the platform that he stands on

Fun Fact: In Kirby and forgotten land, when he dashed at you, Hit B and spam B a lot then when he gets knocked out, take his sword stabbed into the ground and then meta knight will fly out and grab his old sword.

Corrupt Meta knight never wields the actual Galaxia

At this point, I'm convinced Nintendo/HAL has changed MK's wings to being an actual part of his body that he can magically turn into a cape - not a cape that happens to be magic.
In most all of the 3D games, Meta Knight has been depicted as having the wings being his natural state - like that's just what he normally looks like, and he's able to turn his wings into a cape at will.
That's what it feels like to me, at least.

Pro tip: In Kirby and the Forgotten Land With Gigant Sword you can damage an enemy with the shield.
