Great story and beautiful car. I have a 2012 Coupe in San Marino Red. It's my garage baby with 45k on the odometer. It's so special to me as I fled the Tubbs fire in it with the clothes on my back and my little dog...she's crossed the bridge, but my Accord will always be with me. Thanks for your post!

I found you on YouTube!! So good to see your videos! The car looks amazing! Mines currently around 120k. Just had to have wheel lug studs replaced yesterday, and suddenly today my check engine light has come on so gonna be getting that checked out. Hopefully something simple!

I've got an '09 V6 accord coupe...Crystal Black Pearl...done some modifications, just what I would call "resto-mod"..just making it how I think it should've been from the factory, nothing outrageous. Top quality coilovers, VCM delete and exhaust are my major ones. And I've got over 6 grand in parts just sitting in my spare bedroom, mostly all interior & OEM leather steering wheel($550)/new OEM driver side door panel($600)/new OEM leather front seats(about $1500)/all new OEM chrome trim (nearly a grand JUST for the exterior chrome trim, after shipping costs from Japan), new OEM center console, the list goes on & on...that I am all waiting to install until after I move away from Nevada (aka, the desert where its 4% humidity year round and 110 degrees for 6 months and it just destroys leather/rubber/trim/weatherstripping, even when its just parked at my apartment). Same goes for all the rubber bushings in the suspension.. I want to replace all of that but I know this environment will just kill their lifespan. Its really quite annoying to just have all this laying around and not being able to use it but I know once I move and get it all on and then get a repaint, the car will be like new.
Its a project car that is stalled due to the environment I live in and theres nothing I can do about it right now at the moment.

Yes, its stressful. F*** the desert.

Lovely car! I have the 2011 Honda Accord EX-L 4 door with the V6. 109, 000 miles and still going strong. Mine is going to have about $3k worth of mfr suggested work but other than that I love her.

Hello! I love how clean your Accord is at 200, 000 miles. It shows how well taken care of it is. I own a 2008 Accord just like yours with 140, 000 miles and the 3.5 V6 engine. Just out of curiosity since I can’t find anything anywhere, does your Accord happen to have loud valves as well? When I first accelerate from first gear to second gear. You can hear the engine get very loud in terms of the valves whirring up right before shifting gears. I know it’s not the exhaust system being loud since I just replaced the whole thing with a Magnaflow Catback. It’s just an irritating thing not knowing if something may be wrong or not. Thanks!

I have one and it's the most loud (road noise) and uncomfortable ride of any car that I've owned. You feel every bump no matter the road and the steering wheel is stiffer than it should be.

Amazing, your Honda Accord V6 looks brand new! Even though I love Honda engines, I’m not ready to give up their buttery V6.

How about the timing belt? I have a 2015, upgraded from a 2006 Coupe. I am anticipating that timing belt very soon, currently 65k miles. But wow, .. the V6 is worth having over the i4 in my opinion. The 2006 was great with the 4 cylinder but really enjoying not having to spike the pedal to the floor in the V6 every time I need a little power. I am dreading the expense of the timing belt and related, tensioner, etc.

Also wow haha the new siren for a new car bug got me too for the same exact cars. I don't think I'd be able to switch from the V6 to a 1.5t however.

Nice! -- QUESTION -- How much did it cost to respray the front bumper? Was it to fix scratches and little black marks from other cars bumping it? Did it work well?

Hey dude, congrats on 200k miles. I have a question about the car - I'm considering to buy a 2009 6MT model with 180k miles on it, and one thing that I feel sketchy about is the engine. In your experience how is the engine at about that milage? I know that the manual gearbox is pretty much u killable, but is the engine? And is it easily serviceable/repairable? Thanks for the answer and your car rocks dude!

Beautiful car. Gotta take care of small rust starting to form on my wheel well and just below driver side door... Is that Rutgers Livingston lot by the way haha parked there my senior year. Any paint chipping issues with that color?
