Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese is an awesomely simple recipe. Just chuck everything into the crock pot and let it work it’s magic. It’s rich, creamy, cheesy and ridiculously simple to make - give it a go!

500g of Elbow Macaroni (uncooked)
3 Cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
250g of Cream Cheese
2 1/2 Cups of Milk
375ml Can of Evaporated Milk
Salt and Pepper (to taste)

SERVES 6

All measurements and temperatures are in Australian Metric.

I tried this recipe in our new slow cooker and, while the flavor is phenomenal, the pasta was grossly undercooked. I found that upping the milk to 3 cups and increasing the time to 2-1/2 to 3 hours was nearly perfect. This will become a staple dish in our house!

I think this is the best method I have ever seen to make macaroni and cheese. It's so simplified and less time-consuming for those who don't have much time. For us macaroni and cheese lovers, it's a blessing!

I love this recipe. I've made it several times and my family just loves it!!! I just use shells instead of elbows. Yum!!

I bet this would be AWESOME with extra sharp white cheddar cheese, as well as the regular cheddar cheese. It might add a nice sharpness to it. I'm DEFINITELY trying this recipe!! My girlfriend and I love mac and cheese. Thank you!

Made this with 3 cups of milk and 410 ml of evaporated milk. Also added bacon. It was amazing! Thanks so much!

Made this a few times now - has become a Saturday lunch regular. I add a little bit of American Mustard, as well as some parmesan. I find I need a lot more milk.

So, I tried this recipe today. Didn't go as smoothly as I thought it would, but fear not; I got a wonderful mac & cheese out of it! I divided it into portions of about 200 grams each, so it's going to give me nine lunches! Which makes it economical as well. Thank you so much!
