Who's Ahead in the Fusion Energy Race?

Who’s head in the race to fusion? LPPFusion Chief Scientist Eric J. Lerner gives the summary. All fusion research efforts aim to get more energy out of a device than is put into it, a condition known as Net Energy. LPPFusion has just completed a survey of published results from all private fusion companies to see which companies are leading in the race to net energy. And this year, as in previous years, LPPFusion is still way in the lead.

I look forward to the results with the new fuel. Good luck to us all in this race.

I've followed your research closely for the last few years, and I'm amazed at how much you and your team have done with very little investment. It's truly remarkable, I think LPPFusion has and will do great things in the field of fusion, and one day it will rise to occupy the place it deserves. Thank you, doctor !

Thank you for your work, Dr. Lerner. Good Luck with the PB11 fuel.

Excellent lifetime effort sir. Genius intuition. Just like JVN; AE; MB; MP; LL. … stay well. Stay strong. Congratulations sir.

Congratulations on your progress. I had been wondering about the status of this race after the recent news about NIF touting net energy.

Dear Dr. Eric,

I hope this message finds you well. I have been following the remarkable progress of the LPP fusion project with great enthusiasm. Your team's efforts in advancing clean and sustainable energy solutions are truly inspiring.

As someone who is deeply interested in supporting groundbreaking initiatives like yours, I am considering investing in the LPP fusion project. To enhance transparency, awareness, and engagement, I'd like to propose the idea of regular YouTube updates. These updates could provide insights into the project's developments, challenges, and milestones. By sharing your progress in a more visual and accessible format, I believe we could attract more investors and increase public awareness about the potential of fusion energy.

I understand that your time is valuable, and producing video content can be an additional task. However, I believe that such updates could significantly contribute to the project's success by building a stronger community around it.

Thank you for your dedication to advancing science and technology for the betterment of our planet.

Still curious how many of your little fusion reactors would it take to jump-start the ITER fusion reactor, if they ever get it working?

Would love to hear more about how your techn compares to companies like Aureon and Brillioun.

Governments and corporations spend billions on research and experimentation with often little to show for it. The majority of innovations seem to come from small startups and companies whom you've never heard of.

I wish some eccentric billionaire would fund your entire operation. We could of had positive results from LPPFusion years ago if you were properly funded.

What do you think of Brilliant Light Power?

LPPFusion is not only the leading one as you claim but at least the message is honest one which is so rare nowadays. As far as I learnt over the years about those projects the result will never reach 100%. I expect 99.99% and no more. I am a little bug in this huge and rich world of science but laws of thermodynamics say it is impossible to lock the fusion reaction within closed container and expect that it would leak excess energy out. For the sake of the development I hope I am wrong.

🙂 Aliens disclosure. Forget about fusion and whether big bang happened or didn't. Zero point energy is the new in thing.

We know the reportage is always going to favor the least beneficial operators in terms of the common person. It always favors the biggest money sink. If best, effective results was a criterion, we can be confident those producing such will be nominally known, if not attacked. We know what's going on.

Unsure about the practicality of fusion anytime soon, but i love your views on black holes and the big bang. I agree there was no big bang and black holes cant form. Most people ignore how time is so distorted that these things could never happen. However if black holes do form an actual event horizon, then our universe must be the inside of a black hole. In fact at about 4 billion LY are objects that can never receive a signal from us, thus an event horizon as seen from within a black hole.

race to where though?
hot fusion is a dead end.

With lowering cost and widening deployment of solar and wind power, should big money still be invested in fusion, even after a very promising point has been reached? Not a technical question, but a social one, a question of priority and the public good.
