This is confirming what I have been thinking for a while. I have competed in over a dozen shows and I have always been trying to find that, “special formula” for peak week. I’ve never really felt “on”. Always looking for that special something. I recently started to think maybe I’m better off just keeping things the same. I know my body and I know what my body responds to. Next time I’m just gonna try to keep it simple and not change anything well, I’m two days out of a show now and so far I feel great. It’s strange that I never really heard this until this year and now that I’m hearing it, I’m starting to hear it quite a bit. John Meadows, Layne Norton, and now Bob. This is like a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to the show.

Man, there were some great points in this video. One of the things I like about the video is this; probably 90% of the video talked about the entire prep period and maybe 10% the final week. That says it should be recurring for contacts. It’s all about the fire preparation. Period. If the entire preparation doesn’t get you ready in one week isn’t going to fix it.

Hi, could you do an in depth talk about the entire 12 week prep? To include, foods you found to work the best, mental motivation, workouts (lifting and cardio) and other things you learned along your journey in doing preps/ dieting down.

I was laughing all the way through this because everything is true and I’ve experienced doing the wrong things myself during the few shows I competed in… and that term “peak week” ALWAYS annoyed me too 😅👍🏾.. good stuff Bob as usual, salute from the UK 🇬🇧

Great guidance for peek week Bob! Makes one wonder how someone as experienced as Chad N. had Ramy looking terrible ( for him ) at MR.O and admitted as much . That was as much a problem as his back, tricep nerve issues .
