I'M A ZOOMER NOW

In this video we look at the new DZOfilm Pictor Zoom 14-30, an ultra wide angle cine zoom lens. I have used the DZOfilm Vespid Primes set for nearly 2 years, so I was very curious how the DZO Pictor Zoom would perform, especially in comparison to my set of cine primes. I have used these cinema lenses as a commercial DoP, on corporate filmmaking projects, and one branded documentary.

I like how 1:36 through 1:58 is really still and steady while you talk about technical sort of important stuff, and then as soon as you start just talking and moving on the shot tumbles away.

Already have the other 2 Pictor zooms. Been thinking of getting the 14 - 30 to complete the set and add to the toolkit. I really like the look of these lenses and as you said making them parafocal is a really simple job.
