Don't buy the Apple Pencil 2!

Except the artists, the rest of the people can use it. If you are an artist or use pressure sensitivity on iPad, you can’t do that with this pencil. Other than that, it is good for the rest of the people who won’t use pressure sensitivity (like for basic scribbles, note taking etc) and can save money.

a lot of people who buy Apple Pencils are dedicated artists hoping to achieve the same (if not better) level of quality in their art as a high-end Wacom tablet while this is not the iPad express purpose the features introduced in the apple pencil 2 are extremely valuable for artists. Many artists will drop hundreds of extra dollars on differing pressure sensitivity (even if the tip is the same) for normal people wanting to pick up an apple pen this is a superior alternative though for the price I doubt on a professional level the two pencils would be the same and I think a lot of the criticism you are getting is because of that. I think your channel is top notch though I just wanted to mention my thoughts though without more information on the pen I'm not entirely sure

Works fine but note the following: If you have an Apple pencil you will have to disconnect it to use the Benks. The Benks works via bluetooth and tends to shut off after a few minutes of non-use, requiring you to hit the top button to restart. Not a big deal but when you want to make a quick note you may find your pencil off. The apple pencil is always ready to write with. Otherwise this is a workable replacement at a much lower cost.

I bought the pencil…..to replace my lost Apple Pencil. Not only was the pencil replaced….for $100 less….it was elevated! Wow! I love this pencil! Nice that it has a button on the end and a lit color display. Really nice! Thank you!

I followed your advice the Benks pencil was great for the 4 months it worked. The three months warranty was expired. So at the end it was more expensive because I lost all the money I payed for it. I got an apple pencil on the Amazon Prime day for 80 dollar

This would be a great option if it wasn’t because i use the ipad exclusively for art work so there’s no way around buying the original. For anyone who doesn’t need the pencil for drawing this is a great option!

Oh, wow! I hope this Benks iPad Pen didn’t exist a couple of years ago when I bought the Apple Pencil 2. If anything happens to my Pencil 2, I will be picking up one of these. Thanks for finding this!

What is the finish like? After using the Apple Pencil 2 with Procreate and discovering how good it feels I felt like the price was justified for a high quality, robust accessory with great features. Would the Benks one be good for someone using the pencil to draw?

It IS a cheap knockoff version. No preassure sensitivity. If it doesnt do preassure, it could as well cost only 13 usd, like some other pens do.

thanks a bunch, , for this very interesting, informative and professional video.
Just today I received the "Baseus Pencil Pro" (£14.75) from Aliexpress.
I would say it is a 100% copy of the Benks Pencil you are reviewing.
I have a question regarding the "shortcut option" of the Pencil, as this Pencil supposedly performs 14 different customizable settings, of which I discovered the screenshot, more by accident by pressing 2 times on the button on top, this afternoon.
Could You please tell me, where exactly I can find, the settings for the rest of the Shortcuts?
I‘m using a M1 ipad pro 11" with iOS 16.5

It doesn’t have pressure sensitivity. That’s the giant difference. For artists that’s a giant difference. Especially when you are using the brushes in Procreate or Photoshop.
