Can ants outsmart humans in a maze?
Scientists tested teamwork by challenging humans and ants to move a large T-shaped object through a maze.
Humans had to work together under strict rules—no talking and no gestures to keep things fair. Meanwhile, the ants faced their maze relying purely on instinct and cooperation.
Surprisingly, the ants actually performed better in the group challenge, moving efficiently and working as one unit. In contrast, humans struggled in larger groups where each human wanted to move the object in their own way, resulting in selfish decisions that slowed them down and cost them the advantage.
