Did you know that if you stick your hand in a fire ant hill, An ant will crawl onto your skin and grab your skin with it's pinchers. But it isn't actually the pinchers that will cause you the pain. You see the ant uses it's pinchers to hold on to your skin. And then the ant will use it's stinger to penetrate your skin multiple times. This injects you with a venom that causes that sharp stinging pain. And during this whole process, the ant also releases alarm pheromones signalling other ants to join in the attack
