RC ADVENTURES - Traxxas X-MAXX is HOW BiG?! Let's UNBOX one and SEE!

In this film, we unbox the big electric 4x4 Monster Truck, and have a look at it up close. We also do some size comparisons to other RC's, such as the RC4WD KiLLER KRAWLER 2 1/4 Scale.. Which one IS BiGGER?

Here are some specs on the Traxxas XMaxx

The Traxxas X-Maxx Monster Truck is a force to be reckon with. This 4x4 is enormous, measuring over 30 inches long and 21 inches wide, you will have the advantage to power over and through extreme landscapes. Mammoth 8-inch tall tires, long-arm suspension, and huge ground clearance dwarf the surrounding for virtually unstoppable Monster truck fun.

The X-Maxx has massive power with 6s 22-volt dual-LiPo muscle and a Velineon 1600XL Big Block motor propel with brutal authority and quickness that defies its enormous size. Now you dont have to stop the action to fix an upside down truck, this X-Maxx comes equipped with an exclusive self-righting mechanism. Now, press a button and in most cases this patent-pending Traxxas innovation flips the X-Maxx back over onto its wheels.

This fully waterproof Monster truck can take on water, mud or snow. Traxxas was first with patented innovative waterproofing solutions that make blasting through conditions that used to be off limits, possible.

Includes:
X-Maxx, Ready-To-Race® model with Traxxas Big Block™ brushless motor

Quick Start Guide

I've been out of the hobby for a while but was one of the first members of RCSparks. Been wanting to get back into the hobby again and this did just that. I'll be ordering an X-Maxx next weekend. Here we go again.

Medic, you are going to have so much fun with your son with RC, esp when he can start driving them. I can tell he's already interested in working on stuff, from other vids. My girls (8 and 13) and I love your channel. We go out and run ours as often as we can. They run their LaTraxx and I get to bash my Slash 4x4 then we tear them down and clean everything out. A little family bonding time. Looking forward to your son's first RC Adventure. Keep posting your vids, these are great fun and inspirational.

Awesome trucks there! Glad you set a normal SCX10 beside the XMaxx, really helped me with the perspective. WOW! Now back to the bench to install some BEC's on my SCX10 - Yes multiple ones for lights and servos!
Can't wait to see the XMaxx do it's thing!

so far working on this thing has been a dream. once you get the front clip separate the servo comes right out. and we only used 3 tools to do the job. very nice to work on. great engineering. changing bodies is so fun. presto change-o! new truck! the dbxl is a beautiful fit for that mammoth crawler you have there. X-Maxx!!!

Great to see this now 4 years later.
I have 2 X-Maxxs, they really gained a following. Tougher than a cockroach. Lol
I bash the crap out of them, tow my grandson's around, cut my grass and I'm building a blade to do some snow removal. Just awesome RC's especially when you compare how far they have come. My first hobby grade was a Tamiya grasshopper back in 1988.
