As Optimus gets released into the wild in large numbers Tesla will need massive amounts of processing power. Anything learned by a single Optimus can be fed into all Optimus meaning they can learn extremely fast as a hive

I want to see them walking and exploring the surface of mars. Send them with those starships next year

I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

A Tesla robot comes with a monthly fee on top for the 3 Indians operating it remotely.

This is how Terminator started and then evolved into a beast.

The Tesla robot still needs swagger when walking.

Another important job they will have is to serve as test subjects on the first Starship test flights to Mars. With communications delays making remote control impossible, they will need to be specifically AI trained for the tasks expected of future human travellers. They will need a bunch of unique sensors to monitor G forces, radiation, and other things that may harm humans. They may be put in charge of building a base on Mars so that a suitable human habitat will be ready when we send the more fragile human cargo. Actually, I expect to see them on Starships much sooner as we prepare for a moon landing. It will convince NASA that we’re ready to send humans.

The Tesla bots all dancing in unison were clearly a programmed loop and not autonomously controlled by neural networks.

12:03 "They're definitely not retiring as consumers". That's IT, the single most important word in the entire video, "Consumers". Robots don't buy cars, or houses, or school supplies. Consumers are important if you have a consumer based economy. I don't see the billionaire class willingly sharing their vast wealth. Anyone familiar with the Matt Damon 2013 film "Elysium"?

I’ll take a few. Help with house cleaning, shopping in stores. Watching over the kids and teens in the house. Possible yard work. So many simple predetermined tasks, all will make life that much easier.

Optimus get off of the couch! Bad Optimus go to your room!

These “tasks” are legit jobs
That’s put REAL people out of work!
This is insane

I think you’d be able to get that robot to learn basic house chores pretty quickly as it would be a small area to get used to. Self driving has way more variables of uncontrollable . A robot working inside your house would have minimal learning curves not much random events would happen . That’s my opinion . I’d pay 30k for one of these for sure this would be fun.

For the sake of transparency, Elon should have mentioned that the robots were being trained/teleportated and were not capable complex independent interactions with the environment.

@1:02 The first one is the truth. The second one is a lie.

(And on another YouTube channel, the guy pointed out that one of the Go-Go dancing robots kept malfunctioning.)

I cannot tell if this is a subtle parody of the clumsy Tesla bots or an actual fan presentation. I could be either.

Does it come with the Tesla employee who controls the robot remotely?

can't wait to see robots walking dogs when I'm out on my morning walks.

One of the main point of making humanoid robots is - when we collect data we use people, which have hands and all complex joints. NNs trained on this data will need to operate the same hands and joints - or this won't work.
