This is one of the scenes that made this movie so great, it was just a simple interaction but it let us see more into both jazz’s and Optimus’s characters.
Plus Optimus wasn’t a mindless killing machine in this one.

That transformation at 4:23 looks so much more believable and realistic than any of the transformations seen in the more recent films including the transformations in the Bumblebee movie.

One of the best movies I’ll ever see. Being a kid and watching this in the theater for the first time will always have a special place in my heart. Such an experience from beginning to end.
