"I can't hold Trump responsible for Jan 6th because I can't read his mind" also "When Trump proposes tariffs across the board he doesn't really mean it"

So it's impossible to know what Trump really believes when it comes to election fraud, but all of a sudden when we talk about tariffs Tom becomes a mind reader? lol

I'm a centrist, but if I

1. look for any reason not to vote Democrat
2. look for any reason to vote for Trump

am is still a centrist?

Tommy getting MOGGED in the comments. But then again deserved for this weird position of I'm gonna vote for him but never defend any single thing about him ever.

Tries to overthrow an election without evidence: "I can't read his mind."
Says tariff is a magic word and will impose them on all imports: "I can read his mind and he won't actually do that."

Summary: As long as you are ACTUALLY delusional, then any actions you take concerning that delusion are not disqualifying.

The subtext of this conversation:

"Do you agree that Trump lied and tried to overturn the 2020 election?"

"Yeah, but I'm still voting Trump because I don't like one of Kamala's economic policies."

"But you agree that policy would never actually pass, right?"

"Yeah."

"And you agree his one economic policy would be a disaster if it passed?"

"Yeah."

"But you support him because of his economic policy?"

"Look, I actually support Trump because I subconsciously recognize that my audience will abandon me if I oppose him, and I don't want to lose my income. I want to pretend to have a rational conversation about this for the audience, but the truth is I'm just going to make excuses for everything he does and give Kamala no charity whatsoever because this is all really about keeping my grift alive, and the only reason I'm even having you on right now is because your audience will bring ad revenue to this video. On some level I've convinced myself I actually believe what I'm saying so I can sleep at night, to the point that I've concocted an entire QAnon style deep state conspiracy theory to justify it to myself. But the truth is I will believe whatever it's in my material interest to believe, and my audience is composed of overly online right-leaning men, who are going hard for Trump this cycle. None of this actually matters."

When you realize Tom’s net worth is around $400M, this all makes a lot more sense. At least have a spine and admit you care more about Trump’s tax cuts for the rich rather than pretending you care about anything else

I don’t understand. Destiny explained to Tom how Trump was worse for literally all the specific fears he has going into this election compared to Kamala, but his position didn’t move.

Tom either needs to research and tell us why Destiny is actually wrong on these points, or admit he’s actually just on team Trump for the anti-woke vibes

So glad there are people in Toms audience who acknowledge how flawed his logic is.

Takeaway from Tom:

1. Trump is not corrupt. Just delusional. And that's fine.
2. If Trump did something wrong, he didn't mean it. He's just being silly.
3. If Trump says he's gonna do something bad, he's not gonna actually do that.

Got it.

This is so goofy.

Tom: I’m voting for Trump because I care about this
Destiny: Trump did 4 things that hurt that.
Tom: Well I’m not defending Trump.

My perception of this guy unraveled during this conversation. It was so brutal

Tom, just admit that you care more about how Trump’s presidency will benefit you financially, than you do about democracy.

"Trump has said he'd do everything you think is terrible"

"Absolutely, but I don't think he'll do any of it"

"He did all of it in his first term"

"Yeah, he sure did"

"But you're still going to vote for him"

"Yup."

Let's call it what it is: Rich old dude wants the Rich old dude to be president because rich old dudes will always make sure rich old dudes remain rich old dudes.

I used to watch Jordan Peterson, Dave Rubin, this channel, etc. I've realized all they do is ask again and again "isn't free speech good though?", and then proceed to misrepresent the other side. I never saw them do their research, and when they reference studies, I would just accept them as fact. Now that I've seen them, they mostly grossly represent what the commentaror is saying. At least Destiny does his research live, and anybody that has a challenge or question, or think that he's missing something or being dishonest, can ask him live and he always responds.

Guys Tom is literally the only type of rational trump voter; a wealthy person interested in tax cuts for the rich.
