Im glad my tutor started with prononciation. Way my grandfather taught me how he learned 7 languages fluently was learn to speak first, then write and spell.

Wow you became fluent in Chinese in 60 seconds? That is impressive.

Holy cow! I remember how you had 2-3K subscribers only and even then I was sure you'll get easily 50K or even 100K! Keep it up! Your content is 🔥🔥🔥

The “Chinese characters” used to make the video were the Korean version of wenyan. The Hangul is still present.

Reading Harry Potter is so advanced! It's hard enough in English for me, I'll probably never be fluent enough in Chinese for it

My Chinese learning journey started exactly like yours. I was literally dancing with Chinese characters from day using it as a consolation for not being able to understand my Shandong friend😂

Impressive. But how long between learning flashcards and reading a book?

My pronunciation is decent enough that I think I will have a better chance at doing exactly what he did and I may focus on writing and vocab now.

But I want to ask, is it possible to improve my Chinese in totally non native environment?

This is my slow-motion hobby. Even if I take 15 years, I know I will be so happy. I am always excited to be able to read some hanzi. And I know it makes my neurons hit the gym 😅 English is not my first language but it's tremendously related to Spanish compared to Chinese. For me, it's a whole discovery and probably I feel like the first Egyptologists🥹 I love this hobby and this Channel. I will buy your course one day soon.
