When I was doing story mode on this game I HATED warp. Man I was stuck on it for months. Then I realized it made it easier to go backwards then move over the tilted edges. But now it's easy for me. But overall I HATED warp

The Notch stage is quite easy if you wait for the thing to go upside down.

I'm sorry, but it isn't a list without Arthropod. It just can't. That level is the biggest swindler in the game. Not the hardest, but definitely the most unfair.

As a speedrunner of this game, Strata (Ex Extra 2) is probably the toughest stage due to a jump that you have to make with almost no visual cues.

Toggle may not be the hardest but it's aggravating that it's so early in expert mode.

If you want a MUCH greater chance at Notch, wait until it rotates onto its OTHER SIDE. The stage is a million times easier that way.

Notch is super easy if you know what to do.
You're supposed to wait until after it's turned over once. That way, you can easily bypass the first chip on the left, and you have more space to get up to the goal since the second chip is on the right.

I always use alternate goals in my Master mode runs to avoid Notch and Helix like the plague.

Free throw isn't difficult at all. I have much more trouble with arthropod compared to that or even launchers.

dizzy system really screwed with me once
just a normal attempt praying i hit the goal a somewhat harder that normal bump send me skyrocketing about 670 mph through the map's borders then i free fell for about 15 seconds before finally falling out.
boy am i glad i saved that
and then my memory card got permanently corrupted

Arthropod is hardest, but I'm only saying that because you can't use warps to skip it.

I like the touch you added where each music track in this video is played in chronological order following the story. Also I've never found notch to be that bad, but I definitely agree with the rest of your list. And how I managed to beat helix as a kid totally escapes me. (I actually think I skipped that stage as well as planets lol ;P)

I actually didn't think helix was that hard. I just stayed on the very top area and gradually made my way down. It's still psychotically difficult though. I would have put dizzy system at #1 in my opinion.
