Water doesn’t “hydrate” your hair, it just fills your follicles and weighs down your hair until it dries. The steam used in this tool only straightens your hair faster which is super cool! But it does not have any hydrating or healthy properties so always use hair protectant. Your hair is at its healthiest when it is dry, it is hydrated when you use safe, organic oils that are fine enough to penetrate the hair follicle (like jojoba oil) that’s why if you brush your hair while it’s wet or you leave your down to air dry instead of a braid or bonnet-it’s more prone to damage! Do your research guys! 💕 no hate at all to this tool! It’s fast and efficient!
