REMEMBER!!! Brock was the last pick of the draft for a reason. He's regressing exactly the way he did at Iowa State. He's had one good season as a pro but that was with a full strength CMC and a good Deebo Samuel. It's clearly evident Brock is not the type of QB who can put the team on his back and carry it to victory.

Purdy has been a great QB for 1 million/yr, he will definitely not be a good QB for $60 mill/yr. His biggest asset has been his price tag. Going into $60 mill/yr territory is not even close to matching what his performance level dictates. I really hope the niners don't blow this one and over pay him. Make him play out his last year of the contract and build a great team around him for next season. Just because the Cowboys, Giants and Jaguars over payed QBs the niners do not need to do the same! Franchise suicide is over paying average QBs.

Every QB just flat out misses on throws from time to time. Mahomes has thrown balls in the dirt when guys are wide open.

But if Purdy isn't putting the ball through a key hole every single time he throws it's all, he's not the guy, is he injured, he's not the guy.

Well reality check. Brock is the best guy we are going to get this decade at least. Why not focus on an oline and WRs that can beat man coverage.

Brock deserves to get paid. Niners owe him for getting to two NLCS and one Super Bowl.

But I think he should just get the avg market value, or whatever that financial buzzword is.

So many folk just repeat what they hear other people say about the Oline being bad without knowing nothing. Purdy is the 3rd most protected QB in the pocket, he is only 21st in times pressured and only 19th in times sacked. Niners Oline is also ranked 13th in all the NFL. So ya need to stop with the bad Oline excuse. Oline has been good and Purdy just has been bad. Those are facts. Not made up sh*t to benefit Purdy.
