A farm is much more than a house to live in; it’s a lifestyle. Greetings from Kentucky - your mentioning that you use leaves in your beds for mulch motivated me to offer how I use raked leaves: collect them with a metal rake which gives the grass a light thatching; then gather the leaves and grind them with my blower/vacuum. The ground up leaves make a great natural mulch which filters into the soil faster than unground leaves.

Thank you for this video. I am 74 and I can't do things like I used to. I love seeing you mow off your border. Last year I used 70 bags of mulch on my garden. I want to cut that back drastically.
