Anybody notice Clarke drawing something before the credits? It's from the pilot season Ep 1. In her jail cell, she is thinking about how the earth might be. It's quite bittersweet how they added that in there. I picked up on it notice not a lot of people on YouTube mentioned it.

Compared to other CW shows, the few good things about this show are that at least the characters are a little bit consistent & remember stuff from their past, their actions have long term consequences & they generally function well within the plot; but the downsides outweigh all that - like introducing a new minor antagonist periodically every 3rd episode just to amp up the tension, easily predictable deaths of red shirts given their overt lovey-doveyness, characters regressing & undergoing the exact same character arc in every season until they snap & become very ruthless, girl power, constant Disney style last moment betrayals by love interests / mentors / best friends which are ultimately forgiven - it's so routine that you start expecting it after awhile.

Mount Weather IS in the Blueridge Mountains which are in Virginia. Can't take pictures there it's under the jurisdiction of the United States Department of Homeland Security. I've been there, beautiful sight. Hard af to find though hahaha

I don't know how many deep thinkers are currently here who watched the full series & live in the real world but in some areas of the show its not far from what we know & see... It's like biblical met science in our very real world.

The thing that confuses me is that before the show started, the people from the Ark were there for 97 years right?

How did the grounder population grow that quick and how did they even create a whole religion and a lifestyle is that short amount of time.

It looks more like 300 year tbh.

Also how did they have so many commanders?😩

I can't rewatch this. Their morale lesson at the ending of the series is too strong. I kinda wish they just stopped being so artistic and just give us our damn happily ever after cliche
