Why Californians hate living in Utah?
1. It’s freezing cold in the winter & scorching hot in the summer.
2. If you like to drink & smoke you’re in the vast minority the laws in Utah are strict.
3. Utah doesn't have a party scene. If you like to bar hop or go clubbin’, there are few options.
4. The Politics in Utah are pretty much opposite of what you’ll find back home.
5. The smog aka inversion can be disgusting & the traffic can be really bad.
6. Guns. Lots of guns. Utahn's love their guns.

Good to let people know! I have Californian friends that are anywhere from “don’t mind” to “actually love some of those things.” Good to get the people that are in those groups than someone that’ll just end up hating it. :)

Worst mistake in my life was moving to Utah from California. I am so miserable here. HELP! I am stuck here in the mean time though until I can take care of my debts.I hate it here because the people are so harshly judgemental. People literally stare at me and give me dirty looks for no reason here. It's so weird!

Its true Utah was number one in the country for concealed carry permits issued . That was before we became a Constitutional carry state. Its also why we have low crime rates. criminals take the pavement tempature challenge here. The only people I know that don't carry a gun are from California

Best state in the country based on consensus stats and hearing stories from personal experiences from family members.

I’m all for security/protection along with a quiet place that isn’t full of alcoholism and addiction.

That’s why the state has the best economy in the entire country.

Everyone is following the same rules essentially and getting what needs to be done.
