well the one thing the west coast has now is the roto-ray on our new Truck... roto-rays are an East coast thing... and the our city fire is Redlands Fire, we just retired our 1975 Crown Ladder and placing our 95/96 seagrave to reserve status just this past week im going to try and post a video of our truck in action...

oh rotary lights my dear friend!! I love rotary's, even if it is just
a lightbar, the rest can be LED, as long as the lightbar is rotary

@trainguy3 The newest LAFD KMEs have gone to all LED lightbars, kind of disappointed actually. I agree we need more rotator lightbars.

@Crazyfogfighter I disagree rotators still have a place because they can sweep where LEDs cannot. It breaks up the otherwise all light walls LEDs produce. There's a reason why FDNY chose to add rotators back into their light setups with the newest trucks. Look up what Federal Signal is up to with their latest rotator/LED technology. It is being developed with NYPD in mind and it is really awesome and game changing.

In my eyes they are a part of the LAFD trucks! I mean i cant imagine a LED bar on a LAFD truck like this:P
