I was asked... so now that we determined that you understand everything about the role and you've been in the industry for 30 what about this job makes you think you can't do it....? I broke. I literally felt doors closing in my brain. I was a stuttering mess. I had thoughts of being respectful and being honest... but I honestly had no answer to the question. (they hired me)

I have a question. I'm applying for leadership roles however I have a studder and I know companies probably think twice about hiring someone who "has a difficult time communicating". So how can I flip my small studder into helping me out in interviews?

I think job interviews are seriously outdated and ineffective in 2022.

They test 2 things: Your Social Skills and how good you are at pretending to care.

And that's why so many companies end up with the wrong people, it's because they don't hire people because of their real-world knowledge and experience.


Instead of an interview, have a informal chat with the person and see who they really are, not someone's robotic scripted conversation.
