Per GM VP, they use whip antennas due to rural areas using AM/FM and desiring the best reception. Usually about 31" is the desired length.

Depreciated 20%, but we've had 20% inflation in the auto market, so... @3:00... Aw, man... When you popped the hood, i thought there was gonna be a Magnacharger. @6:00... You absolutely can get all of that stuff. Maybe not from that seller, but everything done to this truck can be duplicated. Also, I doubt you'll get $77k for it.

I'm glad you mentioned the rarity of ROI with upgrades. Here in Michigan dealerships will put a $5, 000 plow on a truck and mark up the price $10, 000.

No way anyone is paying $75, 000 for a used 1/2 ton truck no matter how many mods it has

I think you would be an AWESOME dealer principle and a great leader for your team. I hope you get your own dealership !

It's a Black Widow. The GMC dealer in Grand Rapids has been selling trucks like that for years.

Personally I would do aftermarket coilovers all around, bored and stroked, afm tune and delete, twin turbo, forged internals, roller rockers, cammed, sway bar links, oil catch can, change the rear diff, and do a light kit

Hope you get your own dealership! You helped me get my dream C8 at MSRP.

It's not devalue. It's depreciation. 😂😂

The truck market has been crazy for the past several years. They have always held their value very well in the past but not like the last couple of years. Not only the Supply / Demand curve; by the lack of parts to produce new ones but now the labor & parts have gone dramatically up. Way beyond the reported 8% inflation. I've owned a number of trucks over the last 50 years and not been hurt too badly compared to standard cars. Before the Chip shortage was announced I ordered a 21 F350. Inventory on the lots were very low. They were the all loaded up $75k + ones. I ordered a modestly equipped & even got a little off the sticker. The "experts" were telling people to wait that there would be a big drop very soon. The accountant in me didn't think so & pursued. I'm sure glad I did. Mine is now worth $8 -$10k more than I paid for it; but so is a replacement. I sold my 6 year old F150 for $2k less than I paid for it . Had I waited until my new one finally came I would have made an extra $2-$4k; but who knew?

Three fools owned this truck - the original owner, the "B" dealer, and the used truck buyer.

Truck is perfect. I love the matte black look. If I could afford a truck like that, that's the way I would do it. Mods are just enough without making it to much.

I’m not a big Chevy fan other than the vette but that is a sharp truck. It sets itself apart from all the other trucks. I personally wouldn’t pay that much. But again, it is nice.

just had a dealership advertise a truck. Went in confirmed website price with window price. Got paper quote from dealer finance office. Said they dropped cause so long on lot. Went home secured loan then they call and said mistake. Added 13K over MSRP back on.

Market was wild these past years. Glad it’s coming back to “normal”

Generally I agree with most things you say. And video's you have put out. But honestly, there's a big difference in the 5.3 to 6.2. And like other's are stating. Repos are up, and looks like market is starting to come down.
