Don Mischer, who directed this halftime show, when he saw the weather forecast called Prince to tell him it's raining, and asked him if he was okay. To which Prince replied "Can you make it rain harder?". Whenever I need inspiration I watch this performance, and it's just chills and tears.

whats interesting is that alot of these superbowl shows are done with backing tracks but i think prince did it all live....such an amazing glad to have grown up with his music.
