Personally, as someone who is terrified of pregnancy and childbirth myself, I think, this technology will be a huge boon for women who wants biological kid/kids, but is afraid or not willing to go through the extreme hardships and risks associated with conventional pregnancy and childbirth.

I feel like it'll remove the human from humans, if that makes sense. It'll start to feel like a product in a factory. Put in an order for a baby and the "Womb Factories" compete to deliver the healthiest baby to the customer. If the baby has a defect they'll likely just dispose of it and keep the best ones. Won't just be medical bills and health insurance, it'll be more like buying furniture or a car, without the convince.

This going to p**s off so many women as it takes away the only thing women bring to the table fundamentally. So many men would rather use this option than go through the risk of marriage/infidelity etc losing access to their child. Hope this becomes an option in the near future.

Human babies absorb A LOT while in the womb. It affects us positively (and sometimes negatively) when we are adults. I don't know what will happen if we remove this component completely. Or perhaps we can allow the parents to visit and talk to the fetus often.. that will help with the development. Or they can play the recordings of the parents.

But still, the emotions of the mother, the love, the feeling of being under the care of your mother, all makes us who we are.

Facinating tech, it can help women to avoid natural pregnancy, maintaining their beauty as pregnancy often impact women body, but this tech also has the potential to make marriage and the concept of having a family comprise of a husband and wife obsolete, as now both genders let it be male or female can choose to have a kid without the need to marry or bond themselves with the other gender, many existing family law could also become a thing of the past such as divorce, maintenece fee etc..., It may also impact womens greatly as they may need to work longer then ever before as maternity leave could also become obsolete, on the long run, entire humanity may come to a point where they need to rely on this tech to have a baby or repopulate as women may evolve to a point where they may not be able to conceive naturaly anymore, some may view this as something good and some may not, time shall tell

An important note to make: Women who die of complications to birth is much higher in countries that would not be able to make this techonology available to the general public anyway. Places whith little or no puclib medical care.
