FDA advisers are meeting this week on artificial womb and artificial placenta technology. The device would not replace a human womb, but may work as a bridge for very premature babies or what scientists are calling "neonates" after they are born and as they grow.

As a person, who is terrified of pregnancy and childbirth, I think we need this technology asap.

It can allow women who wants biological kids but is not willing to go through the extreme hardships, risks and harms of pregnancy and childbirth to have their own biological kid/kids, without the need to go pregnant and give birth themselves.

Hope this works. I was born premature, and this would have definitely helped me.
