The Titanic is located under 13, 000 feet of water too. This is not good news.

Sounds like the ultimate tourist submarine, not only do you get to see the Titanic, but you get to experience it too.

He described it as “a pretty scary situation”
Huge understatement.

How can a tourist submarine even exist down there? Absolutely insane.

I’d die from a heart attack if I was stuck in an elevator, let alone a baby sub in the middle of the ocean. God be with them.

What a nightmare, if they’re found alive it will be a miracle.

The bottom of the ocean is not an amusement park. It is a dangerous environment and should only be done by professionals under strict safety guidelines.

If professionals are cautious about going down to the wreck and know the risks, why would you allow a company to take amateurs?

You, couldn't pay me to go in a submarine, to go down and see the Titanic. I knew it would be just a matter of time before something bad what happened. I truly hope that those five people are going to be okay. Very scary.

You go missing in the sea and inside a sub, thousands meters down?
There is no chance of survival

That ship has been bad news since the very beginning! I think everyone should just stay away.

Sorry, but if something goes wrong at those depths, it's done.

This is literally a nightmare come true, being stranded thousands of feet underwater in a submarine is my worst nightmare.

Having your vessel sink, while going to look at another vessel that sunk. Crazy

And that is exactly why I wouldn't get into a big coffin and go under water. They don't mix!!!

I believe the Titanic has been poked, prodded, and photographed enough. It is an underwater tomb, a graveyard filled with sadness and despair. This is not a place that should be put on display continuously. Those who have fared the sea for extensive periods of time when asked advice from newcomers, will often say, "respect the sea." Much can be taken from such simple piece of advice.

These people made a conscious decision to tour a stright-up tragedy... It really makes me question did it not run through anyone's mind exactly what they were doing..? There's no blame here at all. I will say a lack of sense is questionable at the very least is how I see it. The outcome does not look good to be completely realistic. So here lies another tragedy with more lives taken due to the same tragedy. There's something to be taken from that. I do pray for them, their souls, and for their families.

On the company website, it states that Titan (the submersible that they are most likely talking about) has a life support capability of 96 hours for 5 crew. I cannot imagine taking this kind of risk for a cursory look at something that is relativey well documented and explored. To each their own I suppose. "The Expedition Dates" are listed as "Summer 2023 and beyond" and 18 dives are stated as planned. I'm guessing this is one of the first, but certainly the last one they will conduct.

Sad, people all over the internet are saying bad stuff like "yeah nevermind. They are rich billionaires". They are people. And they deserve to be rescued.
