Rolex’s GMT-Master II arrives in sensational two-tone steel and gold with a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. This early 1990s N-series Rolex GMT presents with outstanding physical condition and all of its original factory graces. A Rolex Submariner 1680 from roughly 1979 sports excellent case condition, matching dial, hand, and bezel tritium, and a 1990s Rolex reference 93150 Oyster bracelet. Two Rolex Daytonas offer choices for collectors of Rolex’s famous sports chronograph: white gold and stainless steel.

One vintage Omega Seamaster 300 represents Rolex’s great rival from Bienne. This vintage Seamaster 300 – from roughly 1967 – includes a period Omega reference 1039 bracelet with 47 end links.

This Spring Drive automatic models includes a 9R65 automatic movement with a 3-day power reserve, power reserve indicator, and Spring Drive’s legendary precision or +/- 15 seconds per month. The “Skyflake” is water resistant to 100 meters.

Independent watch brands are present in force. The extraordinarily thin Arnold & Son UTTE palladium flying tourbillon impresses with its 8.34mm thickness and 80-hour power reserve. Rival tourbillon watches from Laurent Ferrier and F.P. Journe stack the deck with multiple interpretations of Abraham Louis Breguet’s most famous innovation. A Ressence Type 1.3 with blue dial offers a simple and sporty counterweight to the formality of the precious metal tourbillon models.

I got a Hulk a couple of weeks ago, I am really delighted with it.
I went into a Mayor’s in Orlando last week and tried on a Seiko Grand Skyflake, held them side by side. I was blown away; the sweep of the second hand, the polish of the markers and hands, the depth of the dial, case finishing. Everything about it made me fall in love.
Personally I prefer sports watches, so the gator band isn’t for me. But I absolutely encourage people to try one on. What a piece!

I really like the Skyflake. Grand Seiko has been doing some things with color that other makers could learn from. I much prefer this lighter blue to the usual dark midnight blue that most blue dial watches seem to me. Likewise, their light pink version of this is also pretty striking. I'm hoping the trend of doing Salmon colored dials is fading. If it looks like the color of hospital scrubs, it probably isn't a good color to use on a watch.

Great show as always. Don’t know how you could have sold that JLC Chrono, it’s too cool. I also like the PAN destro, it’s changing my mind about Paneri. Likewise the Skyflake is much more palatable in that case and that vintage Seamaster is special. Sort of what the new Bond watch has come to.
