Igloo Ice maker quick fix

Was the water tray not going all the way Forward and Backward? This is the problem I'm having. None if the Videos I see are showing a fix to it.
Anyway, cool fix. Gonna keep searching. 👍

Genius! perfectly, only I used a rather long rubber band because I didn't have any of the stuff you used. I guess the people who gave you a thumbs down didn't have enough intelligence to watch your video two or three times to see just exactly what was going on. Great video....short and to the point. I didn't have to waste five or more minutes listening to irrelevant crap. Some people just like to hear themselves talk, I guess. I usually turn their videos off before they even begin to show you how to do something. You just saved me $150-$200 as I was ready to chuck this thing in the trash. It's been making ice for 25 minutes now and has not hung up once. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Very helpful tutorial! Thank you. I tested the two micro switches on my ice maker with a multimeter, and they work fine. The water pump works fine, but water doesn't go into the ice forming tray, into the water reservoir instead. No leaking. The problem with my ice maker is that there is no water in tray; hence, there is no ice. Having opened the lid, I realized the ice forming tray doesn't catch water from the intake valve. How do I fix it! Appreciate all your helps.

I believe that it is limescale. But I don't have this anymore suit was lost in a house fire

Come on, you just have a broken limit switch. Costs less than a dollar to repair.
