There are four reasons why these Follow Up Questions are so important at the end of your behavioral question answers
1. They allow you to stay brief and potentially expand on concepts
2. They will identify strong areas of interest for your interviewer (look for themes)
3. They might allow you to cover something you missed
4. They represent a clear end to your answer, ending strong is important

Really helpful tips! I think the follow up questions is kind of leading the interviewers to ask questions in the areas you are good at and well prepared. The successful interviewees are not just answering every question perfectly, but guiding the conversation to the direction they want.

Ugh this is so helpful, thank you! I'm going for a junior APMM role at google and it seems like behaviour questions are a big part of this role.
